Icelandic Horse Clinic 11 12 13 November 2017

We invite you to join us at Haldane Icelandic Horses, Yambuk, Victoria for an Icelandic Horse Clinic with Herdis Reynisdottir in November. Clinic will be held Sat 11 - Sun 12 lessons with theory components - with the option of more lessons on Mon 13th.

Bring your own horse or borrow one of ours. A wonderful opportunity if you have your own icelandic, toying with the idea of getting one in the future or just want to come and get lessons from a great instructor.

Herdis ( Disa) www.disa-ihs.com has been to Australia several times and it's very exciting to have her back as her instructing style really works for the Aussie riders. We want to have fun, learn, get ahead without turning into a nervous wreck on horseback, and Disa really knows how to engage with her students.

$100 per day for full participation - inc yard/paddock for your own horse or borrow one of ours

$50 per day for fence sitters

Really experienced Icelandic horse instructors don't come to Australia very often so this is a very special opportunity to learn from someone who is really knowledgeable of all aspects of the icelandic horse world. Disa has been riding and training Icelandic horses in Iceland, Germany, Sweden & the USA for many years as well as giving clinics, FEIF Judge for Breeding and Gaedingur, and was a member of the FEIF education committee from the start until just recently. After graduating from Holar as a Young Horse Trainer & Riding Instructor she went onto tutor at Holar in several subjects for 3 years. Amy had the pleasure of learning about Riding History from Disa when she did Holars International Summer course in 2009. Herdis with her husband Kevin now run www.hestakot.com in Ireland, where they offer B&B as well as Icelandic horse riding experiences.
