Thought I'd share some more recent photos and info on some of the sweet Icelandic horse geldings we have for sale at the moment.
Starting with Bo!

As is the Icelandic way our horses for the first few years tend to have some basic handling so that we can do husbandry tasks - like worming, gelding and such. The rest of the time they are out in big paddocks running around playing and being horses.
Boas is really looking to do more now and looking for a home where he can have fun and have his own human. He's very sweetly smart so could possibly train his human quite well. So I think he'd be best with someone who has a bit of experience or can negotiate a good partnership with him. You would need to just not be a giant pushover to make it work well with him at this point in his training.
I really like Bo and he has a wonderful curiosity about what is going on in the world which will be fun to put into play in further training. We'll be doing more with him over the coming months and preparing him for a life outside our farm.
