Farm Closing for Winter

Every year we tend to shut down over winter, giving ourselves and horses a bit of a break. As I write this Victorias non essential businesses are closed and we all face uncertain times due to covid.

I shall continue to add content to the blog, on the Haldane Icelandic Horses facebook and instagram pages.

As you've probably seen on our sales pages we don't have any icelandic horses for sale at the moment. We'll advertise any sales horses late 2020 to allow us time to select and prepare them. So check back on the sales pages later in the year.

If you are looking for a trained Icelandic horse then please get in touch with Megalong Icelandic Horses to see what they will have coming up. A group of our horses are now owned and being trained at Megalong along with some of their own gorgeous horses.

The Icelandic Horse Association of Australia also has a news/sales page where Icelandic horses may be advertised for sale.

I'm working a few days off farm at a farm supplies store now which I'm loving. Even though the farm is shut to visitors I'm always happy to answer questions about Icelandic horses, and selling tack from my Viking Rider store. So please get in touch if you've got any questions or if we can help in any way.

May this period of chaos bring calm and kindness to you all.

Please stay safe, stay at home if you can and look after yourselves.

With love Amy and the Herd
